in complimenting you on the condition of the apartment.
It was spotlessly clean and was a pleasure to stay in.
The garden was very pretty and somewhere to chill after
a day exploring the amazing city and surrounding islands.
I did enjoy my visit, it is somewhere I hope to return
to on another occassion.
I

came at the right time and the trip went okey. Also

a wonderful peaceful spot there. Venezia was a bit cold,
but we went to the beach of Lido (did not swim)and stay
there for a few hours. Lido was nice. We enjoy the holyday.

Highly recommended for self-catering. Very clean,all
services that you would expect (unless you consider
a dishwasher as an eseential !!). With their own garden
area, these apartments are in an area where the Venetians
live - and shop. So its local shops with local prices.
Via Garibaldi is 2 minutes walk with daily fish and
vegetable markets and all the stores you need - not
to mention the Dai Tosi pizzeria just around the corner.
We've stayed on three occasions and appreciate having
a vaporetto stop close by. But you are still less than
10 minutes walk to San Marco etc for the main sights.
Unless you have a relative who lives in Venice, we don't
think you'll find better value,service or hospitality
than that offered by Gianni and Daniela.
We'll be back again !

in particular. Venice is beautiful and begs to be explored...which
we did of course, arriving home nightly tired and happy.
The apartment was an important part of our enjoyment
of Venice, giving us a quiet, green, peaceful place
to relax after each long day. Thank you again for your

fine. We did have some flight delays and damage to my
luggage, but we got home safely. It is good to be home,
but we miss Venice.

However, we don't know when that will be as the exchange
rate between the Dollar and the Euro is so unfavorable

sans modération dans la sérénité

Je n'ai pas eu le temps de vous appeler comme je souhaitais
le faire avant de quitter Venise, mais je tenais à
vous dire combien nous avons été satisfaits
de notre séjour dans votre belle ville !
Non, le soleil n'était pas beaucoup là,
sauf le jour de notre départ. Et non, nous ne
sommes finalement pas allés à Padoue voir
les Gioto, crainte de nous faire refouler aux portes
par manque de "notizia". Mais j'ai ainsi pu faire
de belles photos de nuages, très utiles pour
les peintures en trompe l'oeil et panoramiques. Nous
avons aussi beaucoup photographié le ressac des
vagues du vaporeto contre les marches des palais
- et ça, c'est très
difficile ! Incomparable Venise... Aujourd'hui, nous
lisons Donna Leon avec grand appétit - prévoyant
d'autres ballades vers votre somptueux pays.
Vous avez dû trouver sur la table de l'appartement
un avoir de 15 minutes (ou un peu moins) sur le centre
informatique du rialto et une carte téléphonique
nationale (ou vénitienne?) qui seront l'un et
l'autre utiles à vos prochains locataires.
Espérant me compter parmi eux à l'avenir,
,je vous envoie, Gianni, mon meilleur souvenir.
